Contact support

Email support@moneylens.app.

Frequently asked questions

How do I set up the bank SMS shortcut?
  1. Open MoneyLens and complete the setup guidance. If you skipped it, go to Settings > Data > Replay Onboarding.
  2. In Apple's Shortcuts app, create a personal automation for incoming bank messages.
  3. Add the MoneyLens action that parses a bank SMS and pass the incoming message content into its Message Body field.
  4. Choose Run Immediately so each matching message can be saved without a confirmation prompt.
  5. Send or receive one test bank message, then check MoneyLens Transactions and the SMS review area.

If you use place-aware matching, follow the onboarding step to pass location into the MoneyLens action. Location is optional.

How do I restore a purchase?

Sign in to the same Apple Account used for the purchase. In MoneyLens, open Settings > Subscription > Restore. Apple may ask you to verify the account. Restore checks existing App Store purchases and does not start a new subscription.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open Settings > Subscription > Manage Subscription in MoneyLens, or open Apple system Settings, tap your name, choose Subscriptions, select MoneyLens, and cancel. Deleting the app does not cancel billing.

How do I delete my MoneyLens data?

Open Settings > Danger Zone > Clear All Data and confirm. This deletes the app database, settings, local caches and logs, and Gmail credentials. If iCloud sync was enabled, keep the device online so deletions can sync, then use Apple system Settings to remove any remaining MoneyLens data from iCloud storage. See the Privacy Policy for the full removal steps.

How do I disconnect Gmail?

Open Settings > Gmail Import > Disconnect Gmail. MoneyLens revokes its Google token when possible and removes the token from the device. Imported records remain in MoneyLens until you delete them or use Clear All Data.

Where can I find the app version?

Open MoneyLens Settings and scroll to the bottom. Copy both numbers shown in a form such as MoneyLens v1.2 (345). Include them in a support email because the version and build number identify the exact app code on your device.

What should I send when something is wrong?

Describe the last action you took, the result you expected, and the result you saw. Include the app version, iOS version, device model, and time of the problem. A redacted screenshot is helpful. If support asks for diagnostics, export them yourself from the app and review the file before sharing it.

Does MoneyLens move money or connect to my bank?

No. MoneyLens is an expense tracker, like a notebook for your spending. It does not hold funds, initiate transfers, or act as a bank or financial institution.
